Including Almonte Legion Branch 240 Pipe Band
During the 1980s Almonte Legion Branch 240 sponsored a local pipe band which operated for approximately two decades. That band dissolved in 2005 and several other small pipe bands within the Ottawa Valley also recently disbanded. Branch 240 recently took up the challenge of reviving the Pipe Band and attracted more than 40 aspiring members. We are honoured to have them included in our parade in support of the Brett Pearson Run for Your Life Event.
